Leela James and Chrisette Michele are the latest personalities to join the “R&B Divas: LA” cast on TV One. The singers will join returning cast members Chante Moore, Michel’le, Claudette Ortiz, and Lil’ Mo for the upcoming season, which will start filming soon.
With all the antics that took place in the first season of the show, people will want to know what kind of drama James and Michele will bring to the second season. ”[My mother] raised me in a manner where she said, ‘Act like [you've] got sense,’” James said on NewsOne Now with Roland Martin.
Michele quipped, “My mother would probably the first one to pop me upside the head in front of the camera, so I’m going to ask her not to act a fool.”
