McDonalds’ Workers Won’t Have to Worry About Making ‘Minimum Wage’ Much Longer

People demanding that fast food restaurants pay their workers $15 dollars an hour have a complete and total lack of understanding of how the economy works. And it looks like the people complaining about the minimum wage are about to get a rude awakening.

At McDonald’s, they’ve combined a computerized kiosk with a brand new menu, and it appears to be a big hit around the country.
So, what’s the reason for these changes?
Some people suspect it’s no coincidence these advances at Mickey D’s have corresponded with the protests by SEIU and other unions, along with fast food workers, demanding $15/hour pay.
As a result, cities including Los Angeles and Seattle have voted to dramatically raise their minimum wage.
… Let’s face it, technology can do the job faster, better and more efficient than someone whining about getting paid $15/hour.

Of course, this will probably be framed as the evil McDonalds screwing people out of money, but they have their own bottom line to worry about — after all, businesses exist to make money, not to give it away. If these people continue to demand ridiculous paychecks for jobs that anyone with literally no education or training could do, then this will be the result, and they’ll end up with no paycheck at all. Which situation is better?

New Music: Papoose Ft Remy Ma - Broken Slanguage

Papoose continues with his weekly “Throwback Freestyle” series. The Brooklyn rapper and his wife Remy Ma play Mickey and Mallory on the gritty “Broken Slanguage.” Over Smoothe Da Hustler and Trigger Tha Gambler’s ’90s classic “Broken Language,” the natural born killers go back and forth with their ride-or-die rhymes.

Pap boasts about killing the BET cypher (“You nice, but I’m way nicer”), while his better half declares herself the “realest bitch out.”

Photos: Nicki Brings The Heat To July's Issue of Cosmopolitan

Nicki Minaj is setting off fireworks on the cover of Cosmopolitan. Just in time for summer, the “Feeling Myself” rapper shows off her bikini body in a series of sexy swimsuits for the magazine’s July 2015 issue.

For the cover shot, the busty Barb dons a sparkly cleavage-baring one-piece and a killer smile. Inside, a patriotic Nicki flaunts her curves in a red, white, and blue bikini while saluting in front of the American flag, and lounges in a bathtub in a yellow one-piece with a smiley face.

In the interview, Meek Mill’s main chick opens up about being a boss, her future as a wife and mother, and her sex life. “I demand that I climax. I think women should demand that,” says an assertive Nicki.

The issue hits newsstands June 9. See more photos and read highlights below.

 BEING OPEN ABOUT DISCUSSING MONEY:
“Women are uncomfortable talking about money. I know it’s taboo to discuss it at work. Technically, you shouldn’t, but you need to know what people around you are making. Otherwise, you’re not going to know what you’re worth. You have to ask questions. ‘What is this person getting?’ Do your research. I’ve always been pretty competitive in terms of my pay.”

ON RECORDING THE PINKPRINT AFTER HER BREAKUP WITH SAFAREE SAMUELS: “I didn’t [set out] to write a personal album, but The Pinkprint came at a very crucial time in my life. I realized that people can up and take off at any given moment. As women, we are vulnerable and emotional, and that’s OK. I had to learn quickly that if you don’t have a sense of self, you can be destroyed by a man. You can be destroyed by a relationship. I had to ask myself, ‘Who am I? Is this good enough?’ I had to approve of myself and my skills.”

ON BEING HIGH-MAINTENANCE IN BED: “I demand that I climax. I think women should demand that. I have a friend who’s never had an orgasm in her life. In her life! That hurts my heart. It’s cuckoo to me. We always have orgasm interventions where we, like, show her how to do stuff. We’ll straddle each other, saying, ‘You gotta get on him like that and do it like this.’ She says she’s a pleaser. I’m a pleaser, but it’s fifty-fifty.”

ON WHERE SHE SEES HERSELF IN 10 YEARS:
“Ten years from now, I will have two children, unless my husband wants three. I will be into my fitness a lot more, I will stop yo-yo dieting, and I’ll be a housewife with careers that I can run from home. I want to be able to cook for my children, bake cookies for them, and watch them grow up. I just want to be Mommy. Take them to school, go to the parent-teacher conference, help them with their homework, and put their work on the refrigerator.”

Music Video: Lil Mama - Sausage

Lil Mama is back!
She premiered her new song “Sausage” and the accompanying high-energy video

Here's 5 Reasons Lil Mama is Doing Here Thing!

1) Lil Mama Is Reinventing Herself.
She’s bringing the feminine b-girl image back and if she is trying to introduce us to the new Lil Mama, having swag and confidence along with quality visuals is a great way to start.

2) She pays musical homage to Hip Hop & R&B!
The track samples the greats such as Slick Rick, Teena Marie, Wu Tang Clan, Dougie Fresh, Big Sean, Missy Elliot and even channels Mary J. Blige in full costume! Lil Mama even shouts them out in the credits at the end of the video. That’s love.

3) Choreography On Fleek.
Lil Mama shows us what Summer looks like in New York-high top kicks, big jackets, fly rides, rolling with your crew, dancing in the streets and of course letting the kids join in on all the fun! She didn’t leave out the closed sets of choreography channeling elements of high end fashion and she also included some dance moves that even sparked a Janet Jackson nostalgia!

4) Finally Another “Believable” Female Rapper
Although she’s obviously swagger jacking a lot of imagery from the greats, you can’t deny that she is a true lyricist. It’s been awhile since we have had another femcee make a promising impression since the rise of Nicki Minaj.

5) Summer Is Here – Good Vibes Only!
Everyone’s out of school, taking off from work and with all the bad weather we had this year, we are looking forward to staying warm and dry. What a great way to kick off summer with a new jam! _Source: TheBoxHouston

[Video] Young Thug's New Mixtape "Carter V"?

Young Thug simply doesn't give a damn what Lil Wayne thinks about his career decisions. In a new interview with NoDays OffRadio, he hinted that he will disrespect Weezy once again by probably naming his forthcoming mixtape, Tha Carter V. His last album was named Tha Carter VI.

“I’ma drop one more mixtape [before my album],” he said. “I’ll probably name it Tha Carter V, ’cause the original Carter V still ain’t came out yet. I don’t know what the f*ck they doing. So I’ma put that motherf*cker out for ’em.”

Chris Brown's Baby Mama Wants Child Support Raised From $2,500 To $15,000 A Month

Chris Brown and his baby's mother, Nia Guzman, are at odds over the amount of child support the singer is paying for their toddler daughter, Royalty.
According to TMZ, Brown had been paying $2,500 a month, until Guzman demanded that he up that amount to $15,000 a month.
Chris refused the demand and simply stopped paying anything. He believes Guzman is using the child as a gravy train.
Guzman's lawyer, Carl Moore, will be taking Chris to court within two weeks, asking for back child support and the pay raise, unless a settlement can be reached beforehand.
