McDonalds’ Workers Won’t Have to Worry About Making ‘Minimum Wage’ Much Longer

People demanding that fast food restaurants pay their workers $15 dollars an hour have a complete and total lack of understanding of how the economy works. And it looks like the people complaining about the minimum wage are about to get a rude awakening.

At McDonald’s, they’ve combined a computerized kiosk with a brand new menu, and it appears to be a big hit around the country.
So, what’s the reason for these changes?
Some people suspect it’s no coincidence these advances at Mickey D’s have corresponded with the protests by SEIU and other unions, along with fast food workers, demanding $15/hour pay.
As a result, cities including Los Angeles and Seattle have voted to dramatically raise their minimum wage.
… Let’s face it, technology can do the job faster, better and more efficient than someone whining about getting paid $15/hour.

Of course, this will probably be framed as the evil McDonalds screwing people out of money, but they have their own bottom line to worry about — after all, businesses exist to make money, not to give it away. If these people continue to demand ridiculous paychecks for jobs that anyone with literally no education or training could do, then this will be the result, and they’ll end up with no paycheck at all. Which situation is better?

Google Has Officially Penalized Rap Genius For SEO Spam

Rap Genius was using link schemes to manipulate Google’s rankings. It was brought to Google’s attention, where the head of search spam, Matt Cutts, said we’re aware and looking into it.

Now it appears that the “affiliate” program, which was a link scheme, got them in trouble.

The founders of Rap Genius did apologize, saying:

"We effed up, other lyrics sites are almost definitely doing worse stuff, and we’ll stop. We’d love for Google to take a closer look at the whole lyrics search landscape and see whether it can make changes that would improve lyric search results".

Then they went on to defend themselves and point at how competitors are doing similar things.

eBay yanked an item posted by Ari Mandel, selling his place in heaven. He racked up $100,000 in bids before it was pulled.

Ebay has pulled a New Jersey man’s auction for his “Portion in olam habaah (heaven),” right after one eager bidder reportedly placed $100,000 on the table.

Ari Mandel isn’t too surprised.

“It was nice to fantasize," Mandel told The Jewish Forward.  “But I didn’t think it was going to happen.” 

The enterprising 31-year-old posted the prime spot on the auction website Tuesday morning. The winner would have received two signed contracts — one guaranteeing Mandel’s “timeshare” in the skies and another promising that Mandel would keep the spot open by staying free from sin.

Beyonce's Dad, Mathew Knowles Owes The IRS $1.2 Million

The IRS is after Mathew Knowles for unpaid taxes from the years 2010 and 2011. Knowles managed his daughter Beyonce's career until she fired him in March 2011.

According to TMZ, Mathew owes a total of $1,213,580.84 to the government.

He probably won't get much help from Beyonce, The two have barely spoken since she let him go. He still has not met his granddaughter Blue Ivy reportedly.

Rodney King Dead at 47

We all know Rodney King who was a victim in a police brutality case involving in the LAPD on March 3, 1991. Well the Twitter/Facebook/Google Trends that Mr. King died early this morning.


According to TMZ:

According to our sources, King's fiancée found him dead at the bottom of a pool.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they responded to a call at 5:25 AM PT. We're told they physically removed King from the pool and attempted CPR. 
Our sources say he was pronounced dead at 6:11 AM.
Law enforcement sources say Rialto PD will open a drowning investigation, but so far there are no signs of foul play._ Source

TMZ spoke w/King about 2 months ago and he seemed to be in good health & living life.

Martin Lawrence is renting out his 13,900 Sq foot Estate for $200k a month.

Back in April Martin filed for divorce from his wife Shamicka Lawrence & reports that the pilot show he pitched to CBS wasn't picked up.

The National Enquirer reports:
"Martin is at the end of his rope and telling pals he has “nothing to live for.”
The onetime sitcom and movie star is shattered that his career has all but ground to a halt and devastated that his marriage to Shamicka Lawrence, the mother of his two children, has crashed and burned, say sources.
Lawrence, 47, filed for divorce on April 25, and just two weeks later, CBS shot down the new sitcom he was developing.
A pal says Lawrence was rocked by the rejection and reduced to a “Zombie-like state of mind.”
“He said something like, ‘My career and life are over, and I have nothing to live for.’ We’re worried he may do something stupid.
“Martin is embarrassed, hurt and angry that nobody wants him anymore.”
Lawrence was once one of the top comic actors around. Besides his smash sitcom “Martin,” which ran from 1992 to 1997, he also starred in several big-screen hits including the “Bad Boys” and “Big Momma” series."_ Source

Could Jail End Mayweather Jr.'s Career?

The Lawyers of Floyd Mayweather Jr. say that he may never fight again if he is not released from the Las Vegas Jail he is in earlier this month. 


Mayweather's Lawyers are asking if his could serve the remainder of his 3 Month sentencing on House Arrest. No Answers have surfaced yet.

In the Las Vegas Review -Journal Report gives you a recap:

"Mayweather was sentenced to the 90-day jail stint after pleading guilty for beating his ex-girlfriend in front of their children in September 2010. He began serving his sentence June 1. Las Vegas police have maintained that Mayweather would be held in isolation to protect him from other prisoners."

Now we all love to see a good boxing match but, we can not support domestic violence. Do you think that Mayweather Jr. should serve the rest of his sentence in Jail or House Arrest?
