Rick Ross has been back on his remix kick, and his latest venture finds the Mastermind MC laying some slick lines over K. Michelle’s hit single “V.S.O.P.”

The official remix featured Young Jeezy, and we have been expecting another remix featuring August Alsina soon as well.  K will hit the road with Sevyn Streeter on her “Rebellious Soul” tour beginning Nov. 4 in San Francisco.

Omarion releases the first song from the project. Previously the title track off his forthcoming album on Maybach Music, the R&B singer shares “Love & Other Drugs.”

On the mid-tempo cut Omarion falls hard for a new girl and finds that his emotions are as strong and addicting as an illegal substance.

The rapper also known as Donald Glover kicks it with Aiko on a bed, dressed in all white, while cameras record footage and snap pics of the duo. The song gets interrupted for an interview where Aiko describe’s the concept behind “sail out.” Apparently the pair is “protesting” a la John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s “bed-ins” to protest the Vietnam War that inspired the visual.

“Bed Peace” is from Aiko’s forthcoming  Sail Out EP, which is now due in stores November 12 and will include guest spots from  Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, Ab-Soul and more. The project serves a teaser for the singer’s forthcoming proper debut, Souled Out, which will be out soon, we hope.

[Video] Janky Promoters: Fans Pay $150 To See R Kelly Impersonator?

According to Monroe Lousianna’s CBS affiliate, KNOE, fans from across the south paid $150 per ticket to see the Chicago bred singer at the Monroe Civic Center. Flyers advertised the event as a birthday extravaganza.

The event was even posted on Ticketmaster as “Ced’s All Black Affair” with a live performance from R Kelly.

A concert goer, who wants to remain anonymous says that a performance from Kellz did not happen.

“We was scammed because 10 o’clock we was there, no R. Kelly. 11 o’clock no R. Kelly, 12 o’clock no R. Kelly, 12:45 no R. Kelly. 1 o’clock here comes an impersonator.”

In fact, she doubts he was even there. Instead, an R Kelly impersonator took the stage and performed for about 4-5 minutes.

When concert goers reached out to the concert’s promoter, Cedric Johnson, he released a response via text message.

“I’m so sorry!!! I got duped!!! If you was calling on behalf of the show: I will be refunding half of your MONEY BACK: ONLY PPL WHO PAID; Yes I will be refunding half of people’s money back…I WILL BE WORKING THINGS OUT WITH TICKETMASTER!!!! Once again Sorry. “

Though there are screenshots of Cedric’s text message, Johnson contacted KNOE and said the text message did not come from him. So as it stands, it’s unclear whether refunds will be issued or not.

I know if this were me, I would be searching for Cedric in the daylight, with a flashlight. $150 is not chump change. And an R Kelly impersonator just won’t cut it. 

Wonder if R Kelly will speak on this whole debacle.

Conrad Murray Released From Jail After Serving 2 Years For Killing Michael Jackson

TMZ is reporting that Dr. Conrad Murray is walking the streets again after serving a 2-year jail sentence for killing Michael Jackson.

 According to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department Murray was released in the wee-hours of the morning.

Murray was convicted of  manslaughter and was sentenced to 4 years in prison however due to “prison overcrowding” was only required to do half of his sentence.

Dr. Murray plans to try and get his medical license back in Nevada and block revocation in California.

He’s also reportedly looking to hire a publicist to help change his image.

Anyone who has ever seen a crowd of rabid Michael Jackson fans will tell you that Murray might have been safer in the big house. No publicist in the world is going to be able to change the way the fans see Dr. Murray but we wish luck to anyone who tries.
