Man Arrested For Trae Tha Truth Shooting & Murder of 3

A 25-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a shooting that killed three people and injured two others, including local rapper Trae Tha Truth.

Feanyichi Uvukansi went in for questioning Wednesday morning and told loved ones he was surprised to learn that he was a suspect. His criminal past includes multiple drug and assault charges.

The fatal shooting happened on June 20 outside the Diamonds Gentlemen’s Club, which was formerly Scores Cabaret.

Coy “Poppa C” Thompson, 23, was killed outside the club around 3:15 a.m., along with 30-year-old Erica Rochelle Dotson and 31-year-old Carlos Durell Dorsey.　

The shooting happened after a performance by an associate of Thompson’s, ABN rapper Trae Tha Truth.

Trae, 31, whose legal name is Frazier Othel Thompson, and 37-year-old Willie Watkins were also shot, but their injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

The suspect reportedly opened fire as patrons were leaving the show.
Investigators said Poppa C was involved in a domestic dispute on June 17, 2012, and had received threats on his life._Source

Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond Admits to Planning Tupac Shooting

Questions about the Tupac Shakur Shooting has been leaving minds wondering for years and now there has finally been a development. 

Not only was Henchman found guilty last month for operating a drug ring and indicted for murder on Friday, but he has finally come clean about his role in the infamous Quad Studios shooting ofTupac Shakur.

“Rosemond secretly admitted to involvement in Tupac's ambush during one of nine “Queen For A Day” proffer sessions with the government last autumn, court transcripts show. (In such sessions, suspects under investigation choose to enter an agreement with the government to confess knowledge of certain crimes with the agreement that the information won't be used to prosecute them.) His confession unfolded as he was trying to carve out a cooperation deal that might lead to a reduced sentence, according to federal prosecutors.“Rosemond apparently came clean about his involvement in Tupac's ambush shortly after his former best friend, Dexter Isaac, stepped forward last summer to publicly confess that he had led the attack on Shakur in 1994. Isaac released a statement on June 16, 2011 to allhiphop.com, saying it was Rosemond who had paid him to rob and pistol-whip Tupac.”_ Source

This shooting cause a well known rivarly between two friends Tupac & Notorious B.I.G. and lead to ending both of their lives. Lets hope that this conffession brings clousure to both of their familes.

Online Petition Wants to BOYCOTT "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta"

There is no reason to explain why the show is a hit.. It has Drama, Lies, & Deceit all in one show but, as exciting as it sounds, there as some who want to get ride of the show all together.

The show has over 3.6 million viewers who watched the debut of the show and a good percentage of them were so upset about it that they go online and started up a petition to have the show removed..SMH..Could this be another publicity stunt to bring in more viewers???

After we made a ruckus about Basketball Wives, sponsors began to pull ads. Well, it’s that time again, folks!

While we should respect the perceptions and experiences of the men and women featured on “reality” television shows, networks are airing stories that could be very helpful for people to hear, but they’re telling these stories in EXTREMELY dangerous ways.

We all know premium digital crack rock is ‘slanged’ in digital hoods other than VH1. We also know the problem is not just TV–it’s a big, mean, social monster that we’ve gotta shoot down one non-violent bullet at a time. Nevertheless, somebody’s gotta be the face of this lovely movement. And since VH1 has chosen to give us yet another beautifully-blinged jewel of commercial exploitation (Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta), they might as well be the face of change. By the way, shout out to all African Americans who received Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta as their Juneteenth gift! You won and lost at the same time!

As we work toward national- and local-level change, let’s tell VH1 and their sponsors (again) why people from a broad range of backgrounds will NOT stand for the exploitation of the lived experiences of people who may not even know they’re being exploited. This isn’t a “Black or White” thing, this is a HUMAN thing…and we should all understand.

P.S. That “turn of the TV/your kids’ TV if you don’t want to watch” argument doesn’t work here, VH1. A good number of the kids who are most at risk don’t have the luxury of living with parents who can just “turn off the TV”. Why? Because their parents are out working multiple jobs (thanks to this lovely thing called poverty); one or both parents are on drugs, dead, or in jail; or they’re raised by ill grandparents, relatives who aren’t that interested in their future, or foster parents who abuse them and only foster to collect a check._Petition 

Basketball Wives did lose a few sponsors when a petition like this was created..lets see if its catches on...

S/n this show hasn't even made it to the second episode and is getting crazy web buzz!! All i can say about the show is that we as people have watched worse things and never started a petition...so why so upset now?,, its no worse than soap operas..

It Seems as if Joseline revealed more than the eyes cared to see on her twitter two days ago (Click HERE For More Info), Stevie J seems to be more entertained by the drama the worried about his relationship with the mother of his child Mimi. This time around Mimi wanted to clear the air about her and Stevie and tell a little bit about her side of the story in a interview with The Jasmine Brand

Stevie will say I’m going to the studio. I’m not going to the studio to check on Stevie, I’m at home with my daughter. So I had no idea who Joseline was, I had no idea she was his artist, I had no idea they were even working together… What everybody else was seeing, I wasn’t privy to. All I knew is he was going to work, and I’m at home with my daughter.”

On if rumors that Joseline was born a man are true:She’s not a man, she’s absolutely a woman. She was pregnant… She’s a woman.
